Executive Appointments At Comedy Central, CBS Sports And Bravo

Jonas Larsen has been promoted to SVP, Talent and Specials at Comedy Central. Larsen, formerly VP, Specials take on the post, which has been vacant since Elizabeth Porter left in May. He will report to Kent Alterman, Head of Original Programming and Production, to whom he reports. Dan Weinberg has been named SVP, Programming of CBS Sports Network. Weinberg will lead CBS Sports Networks programming department, working closely with CBS Sports, Showtime Sports and CBSSports.com, reporting to David Berson, EVP, CBS Sports and President, CBS Sports Network. Weinberg most recently served as VP, Licensing, Major League Baseball. Bravo Media has elevated David Brewer to the newly created position of VP of Program Strategy and Acquisitions. He will supervise all functions of the Bravo Program Planning department including linear and digital program scheduling, series rollout planning, movie and series acquisitions, and lead the programming support for Sales and Marketing initiatives.
