Summit to distrib Hawke starrer in U.S.

Summit Entertainment has acquired U.S. distribution for an untitled thriller starring Ethan Hawke with Scott Derrickson pointing. The minimajor had no comment but an individual near to the situation stated the offer had closed Monday. Jason Blum will produce through his Blumhouse banner with John Kavanaugh-Johnson of Automatik Entertainment. Charles Layton is professional creating. Project, compiled by Derrickson and C. Production's likely to begin the following month. Blum's credits include "Insidious," the "Paranormal Activity" franchise and also the approaching "The Amityville Horror: The Lost Tapes."
