Is it possible to burn movies that i downloaded onto dvds?

I don't really have much money, but i wanted to know if its possible
to download movies online, then burn them to a dvd so i can watch it
whenever? don't really have much money, so i cant really afford to do
much, but i found out that watching movies are a lot of fun, and help
pass time by easy

is it possible to do that?
