Lyon developing puppet series
If getting skewered by "Roastmaster General" Jeffrey Ross wasn't hurtful enough for some celebrities, how about if the skewering was done by a puppet? That is the premise "Avenue Q" puppeteer Rick Lyon is developing with "Roasters." Lyon is teaming with Thinkfactory Media on the new series in which celebrities and iconic figures -- either dead of alive, fictional or real -- get roasted by puppets. No network is currently attached. "I've always sought out projects that allow me to push the boundaries of entertainment in one way or another," said Lyon. "The premise allows for endless fun and creativity. Everyone is fair game." Lyon will exec produce with Leslie Greif, Adam Freeman and Adam Reed.Celebrity roasts have been a hit for Comedy Central over the last few years, with Charlie Sheen being the most recent roastee. Thinkfactory produces "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" and is working with History on the miniseries "The Hatfields and McCoys." Contact Stuart Levine at stuart.levine@variety.com

Live+7 Ratings For Premiere Week: Modern Family, Supernatural & CBS Lead Gains
The Live+7 ratings for premiere week were released today, and they confirm what we already know: that people are time-shifting their TV viewing more than ever. For instance, an unprecedented three programs added at least 4 million viewers between Live+Same Day and Live+7, led by ABC’s Modern Family, which added 4.7 million and 4.6 million viewers, respectively, to the tally of its two-episode season premiere. CBS’ Two And A Half Men followed with 4.1 million. Modern Family was the champ in net gain both in total viewers and adults 18-49 (a 2.4 demo rating lift), where it also was followed by Two And A Half Men (2.3). The CW’s Supernatural topped the chart of the shows with the largest percentage gain with 63%, followed by CW’s America’s Next Top Model (57%) and Fox’s Fringe (53%). NBC’s struggling Harry’s Law got a much needed boost, up 42% in the demo, while the 38% lift for NBC’s canceled The Playboy Club came too late. The CW, whose target demo is on average the most digitally savvy, dominated the top of the percentage-gain rankings with six of the top 10 shows. That translated into a big lift for the CW in the network standings for premiere week, doubling the closest network in percentage gains. Among the Big 4, CBS posted the largest net and percentage gain in both 18-49 and total viewers. Keck's Exclusives: First Look at 90210's Teddy Getting Married
90210 A marriage to boyfriend Shane (Ryan Rottman) in early November is the beginning of the end for 90210's Teddy, played by outgoing cast member Trevor Donovan. But what a way to go. I was on set for the colorful nuptials, which take place in a cheesy Vegas chapel with an Elvis impersonator officiating. Silver captures the whole affair on a video that will go viral, and Navid playfully asks the grooms, "Which one of you is pregnant?"The occasion is bittersweet for Trevor, who appears in only two more episodes after the wedding. He says he was told that Teddy's coming out story was handled so well that "they didn't want to take anything away from it by just having me there in the background. I'm in the meat of every episode I'm in, and it's good that it's ending with a hero moment. It's a testament to the times that Trevor may go from playing gay to starring on the big screen as America's most wholesome hetero beau Ken in an in-the-works Barbie movie. "I've had a few meetings with the producer who's working with Mattel to get this thing off the ground," confirms Trevor, who already has his eye on Glee's Dianna Agron to play his Barbie. "I worked with her on a clothing campaign last year and she is just a doll." Perhaps literally.Subscribe to TV Guide Magazine now!Watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows For Free
